The VideoClips as audio-visual genre was born in 1959 in Italy. Until now the music video has always been used by bands to amplify the emotions that arise from the interplay of notes and text. The image fills it with color musical suggestions. After more than 50 years VideoClip as a concept has evolved, as well as art style. In a contemporary landscape TheFilmakers has perhaps the most experienced of the fusion of sound and image. Recognizing the visual factor a role that goes far beyond pure entertainment. And the search continues...

TEAM & PROJECT:  In 2008, singer and composer Luca (ex front-man of Italian Rock Band Zeropositivo) started writing new songs for his first international album, inspired by his passion for music & cinema.

TheFILMAKERS: Luca met RnO, keyboard player & music producer from Holland. Together they started building a team of musicians & artists giving birth to theFilmakers.

CHEMICAL LOVE CRUSH: The debut album. 12 songs with a rock soul, ranging from classical pop-rock ballads to post-alternative electronic visions. After recording at Graveland Studio near Amsterdam, the team joined film-makers across Europe (Vienna, Krakow, Milan, Amsterdam) to shoot videos for the band's live show starting off the music4afilm project. 

TODAY: In 2011, inspired by the short movie in which the song features as title track, Fabio & Fabio directed another video for theFilmakers: "MYSHOES". theFilmakers are now working to release a new EP before the end of year while "MYSHOES" keeps travelling at international film festivals and will prémière across the ocean this summer in one of the world's most important fantasy film festivals of the world.
